Owners Representative Project Manager

Wright Technical Services is representing a top integrator client seeking an experienced Owner’s Representative Project Manager (ORPM) to support industrial and infrastructure projects. This individual will act as a trusted extension of the owner’s organization, overseeing projects from early planning and design coordination through installation, commissioning, and final turnover.

The ORPM will provide project leadership and technical oversight to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are consistently met. This role requires a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, along with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across contractors, vendors, and internal engineering resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner’s on-site representative, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical standards
• Manage all phases of project delivery, including planning, design review, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout
• Oversee integration of electrical power, drives, controls, and mechanical equipment systems
• Review layouts, general arrangements, block diagrams, and engineering drawings across multiple disciplines
• Conduct on-site field assessments to verify existing conditions and installation feasibility
• Lead installation and commissioning oversight to ensure performance and safety compliance
• Manage contractors, vendors, and engineering teams to maintain quality, schedule, and budget control
• Maintain project documentation including schedules, progress reports, budgets, and change management
• Identify project risks and drive mitigation through effective communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience managing industrial automation, capital equipment, or infrastructure projects
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline projects involving mechanical systems, power distribution, and controls
• Strong understanding of industrial installation practices and commissioning processes
• Proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
