COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST III
Position : Computer Systems Analyst III
Location : Philadelphia, PA
Job Status : Full-time
Background: Marine Systems Corporation (MSCorp) is a privately held Small Business with over 50 years of Naval and maritime engineering experience. We specialize in marine engineering, design, logistical, planning and maintenance, and systems integration support to the United States Government and commercial customers. The applicable US Navy Program requires extensive computer programming and systems analysis experience and we are looking for a talented Computer Systems Analyst to be part of our team.
Responsibilities & Duties
· Ensuring application functionality, guaranteeing source code structural integrity and quality assurance, processing of all monthly updates;
· Providing programming changes and upgrades;
· Develop and maintain formal software testing plans;
· Providing application troubleshooting services as needed;
· Providing DBA support in maintaining the integrity of all databases and the functionality of the MGTIS/Weblog, and any needed interface functionality and reporting mechanisms specified.
· Maintain data models and Functional Design Documentation (FDD).
· Maintain and revise, as required, Marine Gas Turbine Information System Website (MGTIS) training and Help System.
· Perform data audits utilizing SQL queries, as required, to identify user generated data errors, duplicate information, and increase data quality and data accuracy.
· Provide data updates as needed to the MGTIS Website, as authorized by the PESC and user community where applicable:
o Ensuring functionality, guaranteeing database structural integrity and quality assurance, processing of all monthly updates;
o Providing database troubleshooting services as needed;
o Perform review of system generated 3M files and submit reviewed files to Type Commander (TYCOM) as required.
Desired Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience
· Seven (7) years of experience with developing web applications, technical software documentation, database administration, and programming is necessary.
· Resume should clearly demonstrate experience with Microsoft ASP.NET/.NET Core technologies in addition to experience with C# programming language, MSSQL, Java Script, HTML 5.
· Experience as a team’s senior technical resource throughout software development life cycle.
· Target IA Workforce Baseline : (1) of the following certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO
Required Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field
Other
Travel : May be required 10% (a US passport is a plus)
Citizenship : Must be a U.S. Citizen
Clearance: Must be eligible for a SECRET security clearance (a current Secret Clearance is a plus)
