Supply Systems Analyst
Hana Technologies & Systems. is an emerging security company focused on providing services to the U.S. Government. The Company is currently seeking to hire candidates to support the Naval Supply Systems Command [NAVSUP] Weapons System Support program at our Philadelphia location.
As a Supply Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the review, analysis, processing, and management of transactional documents processed by the Navy supply systems. This position will utilize the candidate's experience in the areas of supply chain management, logistics management, process improvement, process efficiency, and the analysis of existing/new systems and processes.
Duties
- Perform analysis and closure of Stock in Transit (SIT) records by obtaining Proof of Shipment (POS), transportation, and Proof of Delivery (POD) information resulting in proof of receipt at destination. Identify and recommend corrections to open SIT records resulting from systemic problems or poor business processes
- Perform analysis and closure of Carcass Tracking records. Research open exchange issues and Point of Entry (POE) issues
- Reconcile Unreconciled Balances (URBs)/inventory balances with reporting sites who report end-of-day balances
- Monitor SDRs via the Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP) system and assist with corrective actions. Research, determine causes, contact customers as necessary, and prevent reoccurrences
- Review and reconcile disconnects within Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV)/Proxy CAV. Assist Navy personnel in the planning and preparation of inventories and audit events
- Assists in identifying areas for process improvement and cost savings. Collaborates with associates to improve efficiency, productivity, and processes.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Navy logistics and Navy ERP
- Expertise in the Navy ERP system and Navy Supply/Financial Systems/interfacing systems
- Knowledge of Commercial Supply Chain; including an understanding of shipping and receiving material procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external organizations and activities
- Analytical and teaming skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Expertise in recommending innovative solutions to business/technical issues to assist in the enhancement of ERP and interfacing systems program performance
- Knowledge of Navy ERP IDOC processing
- Knowledge of DoD logistics, the Navy Supply System and the Navy's process of monitoring material: recording issues, receipts, condition code changes, un-reconciled balances, contract data and material movement transactions
- Knowledge of eRMS particularly Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) and NAVSUP WSS In-Transit Accountability (NITA).
