Bartender
The Cynwyd Club is a premier private club known for exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and a welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on offering members a truly memorable dining experience—whether it’s a casual lunch by the pool, a special occasion dinner, or a classic Sunday brunch.
Position Overview:
The Cynwyd Club is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented people to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You’ll represent the warmth and professionalism our members expect, ensuring each visit is exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve members in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately; deliver items promptly
- Precise use of POS system
- Assist with event setups, private dining, and member functions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Communicate effectively with management, kitchen and floorstaff to ensure seamless service
- Uphold club dining standards and member service expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self starter who keeps their hands from being idle
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service a plus
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and the occasional holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time. Capability to walk, reach, bend and lift 50 lbs. during each shift.
- Ability to follow recipe and ensure consistency in all drinks served
- Adherence to uniform policy, including maintaining a neat and polished appearance.
- Adherence to club policies and respect for club resources
- RAMP certification required to be completed within 2 weeks of hire if not already certified.
