Fractional CIO (Chief Information Officer)

Inspiration Global is seeking a CIO for a Fractional Engagement to lead strategic IT transformation, digital modernization, and technology governance initiatives across multiple clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in technology strategy, IT operations, cybersecurity, and digital innovation , combined with strong business acumen to align IT with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Oversee technology roadmaps, IT budgets, vendor management, and risk assessments.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives across cloud, cybersecurity, data analytics, and ERP domains.
• Lead IT governance and compliance frameworks ensuring adherence to security and data standards.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud-native solutions) for operational excellence.
• Partner with executive teams to optimize IT investments and business value delivery.
• Mentor internal IT leaders, providing executive guidance and strategic direction.
• Oversee IT due diligence and post-merger integration (as applicable).

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in a CIO, CTO, or equivalent executive role.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation and technology modernization.
• Strong background in IT governance, cloud strategy, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with Public Sector, Healthcare, or Financial Services industries preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

• Strong experience working in fractional, consulting, or interim executive roles.
• Capable of leading cross-functional IT teams and managing vendor ecosystems.
