• The go-to pro for setting up Mitsubishi wire EDM or Makino sinker EDM on complex work
• Fluent in reading blueprints, routers, and setup sheets
• Comfortable editing NC code to elevate quality and reduce cycle time
• Confident self-inspector who verifies to exact standards
• Natural problem-solver who improves tooling, fixturing, and process flow
• Planner who loves maximizing lights-out productivity

What you will do

• Set up and operate wire and/or RAM EDM equipment on intricate, tight-tolerance components
• Translate engineering intent from prints and documentation into efficient machine setups
• Tune control parameters and NC code for performance and consistency
• Execute in-process and final inspections to ensure conformance
• Diagnose setup issues; propose and implement better methods and fixtures
• Prepare machines, tooling, and programs for reliable unattended operation

What you bring

• 5+ years of wire and/or sinker EDM experience in precision manufacturing
• Hands-on knowledge of Mitsubishi, Makino, or similar EDM controls and coding
• High school diploma required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
• Detail-driven inspector with a passion for first-pass yield and continuous improvement
