Learning Operations Specialist

Under the direction of the VP of Learning & Development, the Learning Operations Specialist will support the design, delivery and continuous evolution of Crumdale Specialty L&D initiatives, including management of the Crumdale Academy of Excellence, the CAE Broker Learning Center, and all related learning content. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) and its integrated third-party content libraries. This individual plays a pivotal role in enhancing the digital learning experience across the organization by managing content, system functionality, data accuracy, and user engagement. The role involves close collaboration with organizational learning partners, HR, and other business stakeholders to support key initiatives such as onboarding, professional development, and compliance.

LMS Strategy & Administration

  • Administer and manage online learning through our Crumdale Academy of Excellence and CAE Broker Learning Center, including internal/external user provisioning and management of required Broker certifications.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance program design, delivery methods, and participant engagement, while leveraging technology and digital platforms to streamline program delivery and expand learning opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary POC for LMS issues, troubleshooting, and technical support for learners.

Training Resource Management

  • Manage training resources, including digital and physical training assets, maintain inventory within the LMS, and ensure materials are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Liaise with learning vendors to support system upgrades, implementation of new features/functionalities, and issue resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain feedback loop on course materials, working with respective SMEs and Sr. Instructional Designer to ensure course materials remain functional, resonant, and up-to-date.
  • Submit and maintain specified, custom training content for CE accreditation across multiple states.

Learning Deployment & Execution

  • Coordinate with stakeholders in our Recruiting, HR, and IT Departments to ensure required learning is deployed and prioritized for all new hires and our Crumdale Compass Onboarding process runs efficiently.
  • Manage Trainer availability and scheduling for ILT delivery of bi-monthly new hire onboarding event, raising escalated issues/logistics to the VP of Learning & Development
  • Working with our Director of Events and respective SMEs, manage all content preparation, scheduling and logistics for all in-person training events.
  • Coordinate Life & Health pre-licensing education and certification for all Sales and AM new hires.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with VP of Learning & Development and SMEs to gather accurate technical content.
  • Partner with VP of Learning & Development for training program refinement and make curriculum/program recommendations.
  • In partnership with VP of Learning & Development, communicate with Stakeholders to understand training needs, provide updates on projects, and gather feedback.
  • Assist VP of Learning & Development in managing on-site/online live training events and workshops, as needed.

Evaluation & Reporting

  • Prepare reports on training activities, resource utilization, and learner outcomes through LMS.
  • Work with VP of Learning & Development to analyze feedback and performance data to measure program effectiveness.
  • Provide insights for continuous improvement based on evaluation of data and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or related/equivalent industry experience.
  • The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working in education, learning and development, or a related LMS administrative capacity.
  • Proficiency in eLearning Tools, LMS (preferably Docebo), and project management.
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools, such as MS Copilot.
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint preferred.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, such as Smartsheet, preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Employee Benefits Insurance industry preferred.
