Patient & Family Concierge, Emergency Dept
We’re hiring a Patient & Family Concierge (PFC) to join our Emergency Department team!
In this fast‑paced, high‑impact role, you’ll support patient throughput and day‑to‑day unit operations while serving as a key point of connection for patients and families during critical moments. This position offers variable scheduling, with a strong need for evening and night shifts in 8‑ or 12‑hour rotations. Start times include 7 a.m., 3 p.m., or 7 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. There is no on‑call, floating, or travel required.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome and escort patients and visitors to correct locations.
- Provide hospital info and issue parking passes and scooters.
- Track patient belongings at admission.
- Clean and organize patient rooms and public areas.
- Restock supplies and change linens.
- Report maintenance issues.
- Prepare and serve meals per dietary orders.
- Deliver trays and confirm patient identity.
- Safely transport patients, equipment, and specimens.
- Disinfect and inspect transport equipment.
- Set up, sanitize, and test telehealth carts.
- Order and stock unit supplies and equipment.
- Monitor inventory, expiration dates, and temperature logs.
- Answer phones, respond to call lights, and assist patients.
- Follow safety protocols and report incidents.
- *Performs in accordance with all other system-wide competencies/behaviors.*Performs other duties as assigned.
