Position: Logistics Specialist for International Programs, Senior – Joint Consolidation Point (JCP)

Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Specialist for International Programs to oversee specified contractor duties at the Joint Consolidation Point (JCP). This role involves supervising, leading, mentoring, and professionally developing a three-person Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) Support team. The specialist is responsible for ensuring all facets of shipment preparation are executed accurately and efficiently, as well as managing contractor support and facilitating communications.

Responsibilities:
Support could be any combination of (but not limited to) the following general areas:

• Team Supervision and Development:
  • Supervise, lead, mentor, and professionally develop a three-person LMS Support team.
• Shipment Preparation:
  • Ensure accuracy in all shipment preparation facets including packet accuracy, material readiness, markings, and documentation.
• Contractor Duties Oversight:
  • Oversee all contractor duties at the JCP.
  • Review monthly status reports for all contractor support.
• Communication Facilitation:
  • Facilitate daily and weekly intra/interagency conference calls and meetings to ensure smooth operations.
• Special Projects:
  • Execute special projects as assigned, ensuring timely and effective completion.
• Escort Duties:
  • Act as an escort for material to final destination delivery locations as required, ensuring security and accuracy in delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and greater than ten (10) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and four (4) years additional work experience in a related field may be substituted for a Master’s degree.

• Transportation Operations
