Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Soliant Education is actively seeking two qualified Special Education Math Teachers for a unique, academically focused special education setting near Mt. Lebanon, PA . These are full-time, onsite positions for the 20252026 school year .
Position Details:
Grade Levels: 6th12th
Subjects: General Math, Personal Finance, Pre-Algebra
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:45 AM3:15 PM (35 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $40/hour
Caseload: Includes instruction and case management responsibilities
Environment:
Specialized academic setting for students with autism and learning disabilities
No students with aggressive behavior
Strong focus on academics and individualized learning
Most students are referred from public schools unable to meet their specific needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver differentiated instruction in math across grades 612
Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to behavior plans
Provide case management and municate effectively with families
Requirements:
PA Special Education Certification (Grades 612) required
Experience teaching middle or high school-level math required
Math 612 certification preferred, but not required
Background in implementing behavior plans preferred
