As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic you are responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment within a small team of 1-3 mechanics. This role ensures that all machinery operates efficiently and safely through expert diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform engine repairs on heavy diesel trucks
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues
- Carry out preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Replace worn or damaged parts effectively
- Test equipment to verify repair quality and functionality
