Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of the Commercial Legal leadership team as well as Procurement team.
• Stand-up and manage a Procurement contracting team comprised of 3-6 global legal professionals. as well as Procurement team. Lead a team of 3-6 legal professionals.
• Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders and Procurement leaders implementing contracting strategies and effectively leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Review, negotiate, draft and drive fast turnaround times on high-value buy-side agreements.
• Provide rapid, business-savvy legal advice while effectively managing legal risk and ensuring compliance across sourcing transactions.
• Identify and implement legal process improvements to support rapid deal closure.
• Be a change agent. Drive continuous improvement on legal and contract processes, templates, and playbooks, etc.
• Manage all supplier litigations and non-litigation supplier claims to minimize risks and maximize recovery, including working with internal and/or external litigation counsels.

Key Qualifications:

• J.D. degree from an accredited and accredited law school/university; licensed to practice law in the United States.
• Exceptional contract negotiation and drafting skills, rigor/attention to detail, and strong legal reasoning, particularly in high-pressure transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record developing and maintaining strong working relationships with demanding internal clients.
• Experience leading a global team inclusive of building teams and processes from ground-up.
• 5+ years of professional legal experience with a multi-national corporation and/or law firm, preferably with demonstrated proficiency in drafting and negotiating large scale and complex contracts/projects for multinational companies.Experience of supporting supply chain operations and procurement transactions
