Pay: $16.50 per hour

M-F, 7am-3pm

I. Job Summary

Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks at a waste management or recycling site under direct supervision.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Lifting, moving, and sorting waste materials
• Loading and unloading trucks, dumpsters, or containers
• Digging, cleaning, and maintaining work areas
• Assisting with recycling or disposal operations
• Operating basic hand tools and site equipment as needed
• Performing additional duties as assigned

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or G.E.D., and 0–4 years of prior manual labor experience.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements:

• None required, but forklift or heavy equipment experience is a plus.

C. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to follow safety procedures and site rules
• Ability to work as part of a team

V. Work Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3 PM
• Pay: $16.50 per hour

VI. Work Environment

• Regular exposure to waste materials, odors, noise, and outdoor weather conditions
• Frequent physical activity, including lifting objects up to 30 pounds
• Occasional exposure to occupational hazards such as cuts, burns, or chemicals
• Normal work setting involves manual labor in a waste management environment
