• Facility Setting: Hospital – Magnetic Resonance Imaging Department
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Assignment Start Date: August 18, 2025
• Assignment End Date: November 16, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, including weekends (6:30am–7:00pm, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings)
• Total Hours per Week: 36
• Open Positions: 4
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2470–$2540

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Technologist program
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
• Current ARRT certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR)
• Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Strong understanding of MRI imaging protocols, clinical support, and safety procedures

Travel MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures (neuro, body, extremity) in accordance with radiologist protocols
• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans; provide patient education and answer questions
• Maintain patient and staff safety in the MRI environment, following all safety guidelines
• Perform venous access for IV contrast administration as required
• Enter and manage patient data in Radiology Imaging Systems
• Identify and process anatomical images for diagnostic quality
• Conduct equipment quality control tests and report any issues
• Order, track, and manage MRI department supplies
• Collaborate with physicians and provide radiological support; escalate issues to Team Leader as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
