Desktop Support Technician - Tier 1

HIGH PRIORITY – Entry-Level Help Desk Technician (Onsite | York, PA)

Immediate Need

We’re hiring ASAP for an entry-level Help Desk Technician. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with hands-on IT support experience in a structured, team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide Tier 1 help desk support (phone, in-person, ticketing system)
• Troubleshoot Windows, hardware, and basic connectivity issues
• Perform password resets and basic Active Directory support
• Manage tickets (triage, prioritize, escalate)
• Image and deploy desktops/laptops
• Support hardware setup, moves, adds, and changes
• Document issues and resolutions clearly

What We’re Looking For

• Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11
• Exposure to Active Directory, ticketing systems, or imaging tools (SCCM/MDT)
• Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, M365, and basic networking
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tickets

Nice to Have

• 0–2 years of IT support, internship, or coursework
• CompTIA A+ (or in progress)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
