Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students onsite in a school setting located in Mechanicsburg, PA. The position is full-time, offering approximately 35 hours per week, and runs on a contract basis for the school year. The role involves working with a diverse caseload that includes students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and various speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing speech therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Support students exhibiting moderate to severe behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educators to track and report student progress
• Adapt strategies to accommodate students with ASD and other speech impairments
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations

Qualifications:

• Current SLPA certification approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education Board
• Experience working with K-12 students having diverse speech and behavioral needs preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a school team
