Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with general in-home electrical service calls and installations
- Support the team in preparing tools, materials, and equipment for each job
- Help maintain a clean, organized work area, shop, and properly stocked service trucks
- Safely handle, load, and unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow instructions to complete basic electrical tasks under supervision (e.g., running wire, mounting fixtures, drilling, labeling)
- Learn and adhere to all company safety procedures and electrical codes
- Assist in documenting work performed and collecting necessary job information for accurate records
- Coordinate with electricians, dispatch, and customer service teams to help ensure smooth daily operations
- Participate in training, team meetings, and company events to build skills and product knowledge
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in electrical work as an apprentice or helper
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledgeable in residential electrical systems and building codes
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
