Machinist
SUMMARY:
Operates power and/or hand equipment to manufacturing Plastic or Rubber products, also assemble Plastic or Rubber products,
by crimping, shaping, labeling, staking, bonding, and other assembly related tasks by performing the following duties.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate Molding Machinery and separate product.
- Pack and/or package product for shipping.
- Mark package or product.
- Insert sub-assembly parts in mold for overmolding.
- De-gate and trim parts of flash and gates.
- Inspect parts for flaws, cuts, tears, non-fills, burnt materials, color, scratches, any visuals specified by Quality personnel and Work Sheets.
- Drilling or tapping of parts.
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal
- with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Not required.

- Ability to operate specific equipment and tools.
