• AllSearch Recruiting is searching for a Construction Project Manager for our client who specializes in commercial, institutional, and heavy industrial construction in the Allentown, PA area. The Construction Project Manager will play an essential part in ensuring the operational and financial success of complex construction projects by conducting detailed cost estimations and overseeing project execution. This role works closely with the General Superintendent to coordinate resources, maintain schedules, and ensure profitability for specialized and time-sensitive construction initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly analyze architectural plans, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of project requirements for specialized construction projects.
  
• Apply expertise in estimating processes and all Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) divisions and codes to develop precise cost estimates for diverse construction projects.
  
• Request and evaluate quotations for subcontractors, materials, bonds, and insurance, ensuring competitive pricing and quality for project execution.
  
• Detailed quantity take-offs, assess project risks, and determine accurate pricing to create reliable cost estimates for complex construction initiatives.
  
• Prepare complete and accurate bid documents and ensure timely submission to meet project bidding requirements.
  
• Coordinate scopes of work to create a comprehensive project package, avoiding gaps or overlaps, particularly for unconventional projects that demand precise planning.
  
• Perform site visits, take photos, and document conditions to inform accurate estimating and planning for construction projects.
  
• Participate in pre-bid, pre-construction, and progress meetings to align project objectives and ensure timely delivery of construction projects.
  
• Create and regularly update detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion and efficient resource allocation for time-critical projects.
  
• Prepare contracts, job cost reports, and productivity analyses to maintain financial transparency and accountability across project lifecycles.
  
• Prepare and submit order requests to address modifications in project scope or conditions, ensuring adaptability in dynamic construction environments.
  
• Review quantities and estimates to prepare accurate billing documents, facilitating proper invoice and payment collection.
  
• Regularly review notifications of upcoming project bids to identify new opportunities and prepare for bidding processes.
  
• Draft subcontracts and purchase orders to formalize agreements with subcontractors and suppliers for seamless project execution.
  
• Submit required submittals, shop drawings, and related documentation to meet project specifications for intricate construction projects.
  
• Review and update weekly job cost and productivity reports to monitor project performance and financial health.
  
• Compile all necessary project closeout documents to finalize projects and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  
• Maintain and update historical job cost and productivity files to support future project planning and analysis, leveraging data from past construction projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is required
  
• Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in General Construction, concrete, and Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) estimating and project management to ensure familiarity with the company’s specialized construction scope.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Project) is necessary for managing project data, generating reports, and maintaining effective communication across project teams.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range
