Locum - Physician - Cardiology

Coverage; Scheduled + No Call.

Shift Description; Day Shift.

Standard ; 5, Day (8 Hours) 8:00 - 17:00.

Block Schedules; No.


Schedule Details:

  • Minimum 6 months.
  • 8a-5p with an hour lunch. 8 hours worked.
  • Monday-Sunday.
  • occasional week night call.

Work Details:

  • Coverage needed for 1–2 weeks per month, including weekend support, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Support staff includes 1 MD and 1 APP for Non-Invasive Cardiology, with Interventional and EP coverage available at all times.
  • Average daily census: 25–35 patients.
  • Adult patient population (18+).
  • Hospital-based practice setting.
  • EMR: EPIC.
  • Hospital size: 265 beds.

Procedures & Responsibilities:

  • Stress Testing.
  • TEE’s.
  • Cardioversions.
  • Reading and interpretation of:
    • Echocardiograms.
    • Holter monitors.
    • Stress tests, including Nuclear studies.
    • EKGs.
  • Cardiology consults.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified required.
  • Active PA license or IMLC LOQ required.
  • DEA required.
  • ACLS/BLS required.
  • CTA reading preferred.
