As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help prevent potential issues, and providing outstanding customer service while demonstrating compassion and professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities or incidents, documenting relevant details for Allied Universal and site management as required.
• Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients by providing information and guidance as needed.
• Remain alert to any unusual activities or conditions on the premises and communicate concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital staff must comply with vaccine requirements as specified by the facility.
• Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue environments.
• Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in hospital settings.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
