Janitor (Schedule: Mon - Fri 7am - 3pm OR 2pm - 10pm) (North East)

  Summary Wavepoint is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor to support the cleanliness and safety of our facility in North Tonawanda, New York. This role is essential to maintaining a professional, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. 
Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors as needed
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, fixtures, and equipment
• Replenish the restroom and cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or needed repairs to management
• Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning protocols
• Perform other related janitorial duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be proficient in basic math. 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs 
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical tasks throughout the shift
