About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Super Tooth Pediatric Dentistry LLC as a Dental Assistant! In this exciting role, you will help create a positive dental experience for children in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for use.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of treatments.
- Provide excellent chair-side support and comfort to young patients.
- Educate children and their parents on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and service delivery.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Experience in a dental office, particularly with children, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children and promoting dental health.
