Join Newtown Fireplace Shop as an Experienced Gas Fireplace Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers enjoy safe and efficient heating solutions. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering top-notch service and expertise in gas fireplace maintenance. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on gas fireplaces to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to gas fireplace systems and components.
- Install and replace gas fireplace units and accessories as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all service calls.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to gas fireplaces.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gas fireplace maintenance or related field.
- Valid gas technician license or certification preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in gas service.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
