Project Manager Construction
Firewater Response is seeking a Project Manager to oversee client job sites and manage multiple projects related to emergency response disaster mitigation services. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient with strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities and delegation skills. You will play a key role in leading our teams in responding to water, fire, mold, smoke and biohazard damage in commercial facilities all over the city. This role serves as the face of the company on-site, working closely with our team of technicians to help our clients maintain business continuity.
- Lead the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring and closure of mitigation projects.
- Perform site inspections, setting up and leading the crew members, equipment management, detailed documenting of losses with accurate measurements, estimating the cost of the loss.
- Managing multiple job sites and site crews simultaneously, ensuring quality results.
- Oversee field technicians and subcontractors to ensure efficient project completion.
- Inspect properties for water damage and develop a drying plan which includes the setup of drying equipment, monitoring temperature and specific humidity.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout each project.
- Complete necessary paperwork to record job notes and utilize moisture mapping software.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and Firewater Response during projects.
- Coordinate field crews and subcontractors to ensure timely effective work completion.
- Monitor budgets and labor budgets on jobs including Firewater Staff and subcontractors.
- Communicate regularly with clients to address any questions or concerns.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and be available for occasional after-hours needs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in project management, preferably in disaster mitigation or construction industry.
- IICRC certifications: WRT, AMRT, FSRT, are a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A solid understanding of construction timelines and project needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in high-pressure, fast-paced situations
- Commit to a 24/7 restoration cycle, including on-call rotations.
- Knowledge of remediation processes for water, fire, smoke, mold and mildew is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to complete a background check
- Salary range will be based on experience. Insert range here: 70k – 100k+

Pay: $75,284.00 - $110,000.00 per year
