Step into an engaging long-term contract opportunity as a full-time middle school math teacher in a dynamic urban environment near Philadelphia, PA. This role begins August 24, 2026, and extends through June 10, 2027, offering the chance to make a significant impact on students’ educational journeys. With 35 hours per week onsite, you’ll be immersed in a supportive academic community and focus primarily on general education middle school math learners. While some Special Education students may be present, dedicated SPED teachers are assigned to meet their individual needs.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure required for assigned caseload
• Bachelor’s degree required (to be eligible for an emergency teaching permit)
• Demonstrated expertise in classroom instruction and mastery of math curriculum for middle school students
• Minimum of one year of school-based teaching experience
• Proven strength in classroom and behavioral management, especially within urban districts
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district standards, utilizing differentiation and formative assessments
• Experience working with diverse student populations; adaptability and comfort working in urban school settings
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for 8:30AM–4PM work hours; schedule accommodations are not available
• All Pennsylvania clearances must be completed prior to starting
