Job Summary:

Heberle & Chiaramonte Hospitality Group (HCHG) is hiring Greeter / Guest Services team members for an upcoming relaunch of a downtown Erie restaurant & bar concept. In our service style, guests seat themselves , so this role focuses on welcoming guests, guiding them smoothly into the experience, supporting the floor with runner-style tasks, and helping service stay organized and fast. No experience required---we will train.

Pay: $10.00--$15.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule / Hours:

Part-time; evenings, weekends, and select late nights required. Typical range 10--25 hours/week based on business needs.

Work Location:

Downtown Erie (worksite address provided during screening). Interviews by appointment only.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at the entrance; set a friendly, professional first impression

• Explain the flow (self-seating, ordering process, where to find menus/QR, etc.)

• Help manage guest flow during busy periods (direct to open areas, coordinate with servers)

• Support FOH as a runner: deliver food, assist with resets, restock supplies, ice, and condiments

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in guest-facing areas (entry, host stand area, menus)

• Communicate with FOH/BOH to support smooth service and guest satisfaction

• Assist with basic guest questions and service recovery (find a manager when needed)

• Follow hospitality standards, safety procedures, and opening/closing checklists

Qualifications

• Experience welcome, not required

• Friendly communication and a guest-first mindset

• Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance

• Ability to stay calm, organized, and moving in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)

• Stand/walk for extended periods; carry trays/plates as trained

• Lift up to approximately 25 lbs

Start Date / Training Timeline

Training begins the first week of March ; applicants able to start training during that week are strongly preferred.
