Applications Engineer
Seeking an experienced Application Engineer to provide technical support and engineered solutions for industrial electromechanical products. This customer-facing role bridges sales, engineering, and operations by translating customer requirements into product recommendations, preparing technical quotations, and supporting projects from specification through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical consultation and application support to customers and sales teams
Review customer requirements and recommend appropriate product configurations
Prepare quotations, technical submittals, and engineering documentation
Support pre- and post-sales activities, including troubleshooting and commissioning assistance
Coordinate projects through engineering, production, and customer service teams
Assist with field visits, customer training, and occasional trade shows
Contribute to product improvement initiatives and technical documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred
5+ years of experience in an industrial electromechanical or applications engineering role
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
Experience supporting industrial process industries, such as water/wastewater or utilities, is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems preferred
Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites
