Director Quality, Safety & Experience

UPMC Washington is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Patient Experience .. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure excellence in clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction across our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and reduce resource utilization while promoting quality patient outcomes.
- Oversee Infection Control programs, including surveillance, education, and HAI reduction.
- Drive data analytics and reporting in collaboration with CQSI.
- Serve as the facility contact for PHC4, PHCQA, and UPMC Risk Management.
- Ensure readiness for DOH Licensure and Joint Commission Accreditation Surveys.
- Manage departmental budgets and staffing to meet quality and cost-effectiveness goals.
- Champion patient experience initiatives and public reporting of quality outcomes.
- Provide oversight for privacy officer functions and policy/procedure development.
- Act as a senior internal consultant for clinical measurement, analysis, and reporting.
- Responsible for the deployment of Vizent across UPMC Washington & UPMC Greene.
