Location: OPG Ventures, Butler Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Salary: $17-$19 per hour About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper/Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity across our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent data entry skills, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting support withing the Fiscal and Accounting Department by researching and gathering data.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Enter data into accounting software and databases with speed and accuracy
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and credit card transactions
- Experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to assimilate large volume of data from various sources
- Accuracy entering data into computer systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
