Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to supporting construction pipeline projects. As a Surveyor, you will utilize a handheld GPS meter for surveys and engage in construction stakeouts. The role involves locating the edges of roads, driveways, and utilities over project sites ranging from 100 feet to 4 miles long. You will meet with operations staff in the field to discuss project details, conduct soil erosion assessments, and perform weekly inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys using handheld GPS meters.
• Locate edges of roads, driveways, and utilities on construction sites.
• Perform construction stakeouts.
• Collaborate with operations staff in the field to discuss project specifics.
• Conduct soil erosion assessments and weekly inspections.

Essential Skills

• Experience in surveying and topographic surveys.
• Familiarity with GPS equipment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform fieldwork.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Experience in drafting and design is a plus.

Work Environment

This position primarily involves fieldwork with minimal office duties. Field sites may be up to two hours away, with the possibility of overnight stays. Interaction with clients on-site is expected, requiring professionalism and effective communication.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00/hr.
