Line Cook
We are looking for a reliable, motivated Back of House Team Member to join our kitchen. Our restaurant specializes in authentic Spanish-inspired small plates, requiring attention to detail, consistency, and teamwork. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in food quality, and is committed to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate food, appetizers, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist with food prep, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, portioning proteins, and stocking ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations throughout each shift.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Receive, rotate, and properly store deliveries using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
