Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This travel Occupational Therapy opportunity is based in the Kingston, PA area, serving multiple nearby school locations. The position offers a 35-hour workweek supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on mild to moderate needs. This role is ideal for an OT seeking hands-on experience in school-based settings with a diverse student population.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy services tailored to students individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to support student development and classroom participation
- Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting student progress
- Supporting students with mild to moderate challenges to enhance their functional abilities and academic performance
- Adapting therapy approaches to meet age-appropriate educational goals across K-12 grades
Qualifications sought:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based experience preferred
- Familiarity working with children from K through 12th grade
- Ability to manage cases with mild to moderate therapeutic needs
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Willingness to travel within the Kingston, PA region to multiple nearby school locations
This is a travel assignment housing multiple schools within close proximity, designed for someone ready to begin ASAP through June 5, 2026. The predictable 35-hour workweek offers consistent hours and meaningful therapy work in educational environments.
