Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, with night shifts every other weekend.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Charting system: Meditech (experience not required)
• No on-call or float requirements
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license required (pending license with a clear ETA is acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all via AHA)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PA fingerprinting and PA Childline Abuse Clearance required; candidates who have not been PA residents for the past two years must also complete PA Department of Aging fingerprints
• SSN and DOB required upon offer acceptance

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply; prior travel experience is preferred
• Holiday availability is requested; minimal RTO will be considered
• 13-week contract
