Live Operations Data Administrator

In this vital role, you will manage critical data and coordinate supply chains to ensure optimal feed inventory and accurate farm records. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with both internal teams and external vendors, contributing to the smooth operation of breeder and grow out farms. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule feed deliveries from vendors to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages across multiple facilities.
  • Monitor and track feed levels at operational sites to ensure supply reliability.
  • Enter and update daily production metrics and farming records for breeder and grow out farms, ensuring high data integrity.
  • Audit and verify vendor delivery invoices against internal tracking sheets.
  • Maintain and organize files for grower and breeder settlements; submit for payment on a weekly or biweekly basis.
  • Prepare inventory and farm performance summaries for management review.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve supply delays or data discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service support to internal and external stakeholders through regular communication by phone, text, or email.
  • Travel to producer sites or company farms as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to reconcile producer payments as necessary.
  • Follow all biosecurity and Animal Welfare Policies, and report any related issues to management immediately.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Report any potential food safety issues or damages to company property promptly using the appropriate channels.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–3 years of related work experience in data administration, supply chain coordination, or a similar field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed for extended periods.
  • Comfort working in a variety of environments, including office, warehouse, production floors, and live operation barns.
  • Ability to safely ascend and descend stairs and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
