We are looking for dedicated individuals looking to begin or expand their clinical experience working with family systems while gaining experience practicing an evidence-based model in a future forward supportive work environment in the following counties, Columbia, Montour, Snyder, Union, Northumberland, and Schuykill.
Within this combined role, you will work closely with the clients caregivers and other identified treatment team members to provide psychotherapy directly to your clients. You will be responsible for providing FFT services to children aged 4-18 and their families in the families home setting.
This position does allow for flexibility with scheduling, the hours and locations of assignments are based on the client and family’s needs. There are no overnight hours but the ability to have some flexibility with scheduling is preferred.
*You MUST be elligible for certification as a Functional Family Therapy Clinician*
What Do I Need?
Education and Experience
Master's Degree required in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
AND
Must meet ONE of the following:
- Licensed in PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed in PA as a Social Worker (LSW) or Behavior Specialist (BSL) and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
- At least 1 year of full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children up to and including age 21, and a graduate degree with at least nine (9) credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling; Or
- Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree with at least nine (9) credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education counseling or a related field
Other Requirements
- You will maintain a valid driver’s license
- You will maintain all required state and federal clearances
- You will be organized and have excellent communications and decision-making skills
- You will be resourceful with the ability to work with a team and independently
- You will keep all information confidential and abide by HIPPA guidelines
What Will I Do?
- You will participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team and in the development of an individual psychosocial evaluation and remedy plan for each client on his/her caseload.
- You will use a written order and assessment to determine the therapy approach and ultimately develop a remedy for attending to children, youth and young adults with behavioral health needs sometimes compounded by developmental disorders who present with challenging behaviors.
- You will monitor provisions of services described in the treatment plan components and complete progress notes within 48 hours of the service.
- You will provide mobile and face-to-face therapy for individuals, couples, families and groups in a competent, professional and confidential manner and according to the agreed upon treatment plan along with helping clients develop and implrement aftercare ministrations.
- You will meet with the Clinical Supervisor for supervision as assigned and participate in scheduled staff and in-service meetings.
- You will work in conjunction with CONCERN Case Managers to implement treatment plans and individual program descriptions.
- You will maintain a prositive, professional relationship with all linkage and referral agencies.
Hours of Work
This position requires some flexibility with scheduling around client needs. Ability to work days, evenings, and/or weekends is preferred but not necessarily required.
What Will I Get?
Billable Rate (Time spent providing direct care to your client)-$45/hr
Administrative Rates (functions performed outside of direct client care) Supervision and Training - $14/hr.
All other non-billable (e.g. phone calls, documentation, etc.) - $7.50/hr.
