What You'll Do as an Electrical Panel Builder:
- Read & interpret electrical prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Lay out panels by measuring, cutting, and preparing backplates, enclosures, and mounting hardware.
- Mount electrical components such as breakers, relays, contactors, and terminal blocks to UL508 standards.
- Wire panels using proper crimping, termination, and routing techniques.
- Install & organize wiring, harnesses, and troughs neatly and safely inside enclosures.
- Test completed panels and troubleshoot wiring or component issues as needed.
- Document wiring, materials used, and test results according to company standards.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Work with engineers, project managers, and teammates to meet quality and schedule expectations.
Our Ideal Electrical Panel Builder:
- Experience: Entry-level candidates with at least one year of electrical assembly experience or a completed vocational/technical program; panel wiring or industrial electrical experience is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation; familiar with standard electrical tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, drills, and multimeters.
- Detail- and Quality-focused: Works carefully and precisely, pays attention to layout, wiring quality, and overall panel workmanship.
- Collaborative: Works well on assigned tasks and collaborates with teammates when needed.
- Clear Communicator: Communicates effectively with coworkers, engineers, and supervisors.
- Computer Skills: Comfortable using basic computer systems to view prints, instructions, and documentation.
- Physical Ability: Able to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have a basic personal set of hand tools
What We Offer Our Electrical Panel Builder:
- Full-time schedule, M thru F, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- $18-$26 per hour, depending on experience
