Speech-Language Pathologist
Job Summary
We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position in a school in the Philadelphia area. Ideally this position would be in-person, but virtual clinicians can reach out as well. We are looking for dedicated and talented SLPs who are interested in making a difference in the lives of students in the school system. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs and goals
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and others involved in the IEP team to ensure cohesive care strategies and progress tracking
- Participate in and lead IEP team meetings
- Independently manage speech-only cases on the caseload
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly for optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
- Possession of a valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate for Speech and Language Impaired PK-12, Speech and Hearing Disorders, Speech Correction, or Speech Correctionist
- Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred
- Experience conducting patient assessments and designing effective speech therapy interventions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour
