We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.

Job Title: Facility Services Supervisor

Status: Full Time Day

As a Facility Services Supervisor , supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations of the Facility Services team, including scheduling, work delegation, and oversight of work quality
• Supervise and support maintenance staff, promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance feedback
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, OSHA, and Department of Health standards
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment logs, and preventative maintenance schedules
• Coordinate generator testing, fire drills, and facility inspections
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in on-call rotation as needed
• Communicate regularly with residents and staff to ensure satisfaction and timely resolution of requests
• Maintain departmental inventory and support procurement needs in coordination with leadership
• Collaborate with Grounds, Environmental Services, and Skilled Nursing as needed to support cross-departmental goals
• Interact with vendors, contractors, and service providers

• An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training in maintenance trades preferred
• Experience in plant operations, facilities maintenance, or related field preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documents
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA Life Safety Code, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively
• Willingness to lead both operational and cultural aspects of the department
