Dishwasher

Recipe Philly is a first-of-its-kind restaurant: a full-service dining experience built on the principles of Heirloom Hospitality. Every dish on our menu comes from a real family recipe, surfaced through a citywide competition and accompanying TV series. The food here means something. So does the team that serves it.

We're looking for a dependable Dishwasher (we call this position Sanitarian ) to keep our kitchen clean, safe, and moving. This role is the backbone of daily operations. You'll touch every corner of the kitchen: the dishwashing machine, the three-compartment sink, the floors, the walk-in, the receiving dock. If something is dirty, you handle it. If something is out of place, you fix it.

No experience required. A serious attitude toward cleanliness and a willingness to do the work the right way, every time, is what we're after.

What you'll do

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all service ware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the dishwashing machine and three-compartment sink
• Restock clean serviceware to designated locations throughout each shift
• Sweep, mop, and maintain all kitchen floors on a regular schedule
• Remove trash and recyclables and sort them into the correct disposal containers
• Break down cardboard boxes from deliveries and route them to recycling
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries: rotating stock using FIFO, dating everything, and getting chilled and frozen items put away first
• Keep the walk-in cooler and dry storage areas organized and labeled at all times
• Run mop heads through the dishwashing machine at end of shift, then hang to dry
• Maintain personal hygiene and appearance standards, including a clean uniform and proper hair covering

What we're looking for

• No prior experience required; kitchen experience is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in the quality of your work
• Comfortable on your feet for extended periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• A team-first attitude; you understand that a clean kitchen keeps everyone safer and faster
