Unique Snacks is hiring for a Shift Supervisor on 2nd Shift.

This role is located in Reading, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $27.00- $37.00/hr. Raises are offered four times a year!

Shift: 2nd - 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Overtime and weekend hours will be necessary during extended production runs.

**PAID HOLIDAY AND VACATION**

Physical Demands:

• Standing, bending, stooping for 8-hour shifts.
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
• Ability to lift, twist, bend, stand, sit, kneel.
• Manual dexterity needed to perform activities

What are we looking for?

• High School Diploma/ GED is required
• 3+ years experience in a food manufacturing environment is required
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Attention to Detail
• Problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Knowledge of SQF, FSMA, HACCP is preferred

ALL Candidates must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Maintain accurate production records during shift including but not limited to, bag weights, product completion times, waste, etc.
• Clean/sanitize plant and production equipment, including packaging machines, floors, ovens, belts, etc.
• Observe and comply with all safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SQF (Safe Quality Food), and company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure).
• Must wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for job duty.
• Report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management.
• May be requested to temporarily cover work assignments according to business/production demands.
• Able to read, write and understand English.

Our pretzels burst open creating bubbles and crevices that were crispy, yet crunchy, and full of flavor. As we produced this split-open pretzel we started calling them "Splits.". "Shells" are another variation of a Unique Pretzel. We use our split-open baking process to remove the inside of the pretzel and create bite-size hollow pockets. What's left? The best part! The crunchy, tasty outside pretzel shell.
