Job Summary (List Format): Senior Analyst, Accounting & Reporting


- Serve as senior lead supporting Shared Services Center (SSC) accounting team, business units (BU), and service provider teams for day-to-day accounting operations.
- Improve SSC accounting procedures and strengthen internal controls; provide training and guidance to SSC and service provider accounting teams.
- Act as key point of contact for Accounting and Reporting, maintaining strong customer service and proactive communication with management and staff.
- Drive monthly financial close process: approve journal entries, reconciliations, reports, intercompany invoices/balances, and review income tax provisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of closing results and required reports to management; monitor general ledger activity and account reconciliations.
- Oversee customer financial reporting; ensure timely, accurate, and compliant Magnitude package compilation by relevant teams.
- Support accurate and timely completion of tax, treasury, and government reporting, providing review and quality monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with Saint-Gobain s Internal Control Reference Framework (ICRF), as well as GAAP and IFRS accounting guidelines.
- Lead or participate in SSC, BU, and customer-sponsored initiatives and special projects.
- Respond to financial and tax audit requests, providing necessary information and insights.
- Apply technical accounting expertise to research and resolve accounting and systems issues; provide guidance to service provider teams, including process exceptions.
- Support and coach outsourced team members across different companies, geographies, time zones, and cultures.
