We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on a PRN/as-needed basis to assist with coverage for vacations, sick days, and schedule needs. Newly graduating hygienists are welcome to apply.

Job Summary:
The Dental Hygienist will provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients, including preventive and therapeutic services. This role involves working closely with the dentist and team members to ensure excellent patient care and education while maintaining flexibility to support the office as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments
• Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and treatment notes
• Adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols
• Collaborate with the dentist and team to provide quality patient care
• Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technology

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend and digital radiography preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a team environment
• Commitment to patient care and education

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate: $45.00–$52.00 per hour, based on experience
