Project Manager
Our client in Irwin, PA is seeking an experienced Project Manager (ORPM) to oversee industrial and infrastructure projects. This role acts as a trusted extension of the organization, managing all phases of project delivery — from concept and design through installation, commissioning, and turnover.
The ideal candidate will provide leadership, technical insight, and project oversight to ensure that project scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are consistently met. This position requires strong expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
Salary:
$50.00/hr (This is a contract role for 6 to 12 months)
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the owner’s on-site representative, ensuring alignment with project objectives, technical standards, and operational requirements.
Manage all phases of project lifecycle: planning, design review, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
Oversee integration of electrical, mechanical, and power equipment systems.
Review and validate system layouts, general arrangements, and technical diagrams.
Evaluate engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
Conduct field assessments to verify existing conditions, installation feasibility, and safety compliance.
Lead installation and commissioning oversight, ensuring system performance meets design and safety standards.
Manage contractors, vendors, and internal resources to maintain quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, budgets, and change management.
Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining effective communication across all stakeholders.
Drive process improvement and value engineering initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
5+ years of experience managing industrial automation, capital equipment, or infrastructure projects.
Proven experience coordinating multi-discipline projects involving mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
Strong understanding of industrial installation practices, mechanical rigging, equipment setting, conduit/tray routing, and utility coordination.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Qualifications:

Knowledge of safety, commissioning procedures, and industrial construction practices.
