Job Summary
The Dental Lab Customer Service Representative acts as the main communication link between dentists/offices and technicians of the laboratory. This role ensures that all cases are received, processed, and delivered accurately and on time, while maintaining strong professional relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for dentists, dental assistants, and office staff via phone, email, or in person.
• Process both incoming and outgoing dental cases, ensuring accuracy of information, materials, shades, and due dates.
• Receive, verify, and enter case information into the lab management system.
• Occasionally pick up and deliver cases to and from dental offices when needed.
• Communicate with technicians regarding case progress, adjustments, and delivery schedules.
• Handle case inquiries, delivery updates, remake or adjustment requests promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with drivers.
• Assist with billing inquiries, statements, and basic account management.
• Maintain detailed records of client communication and case activity.
• Support internal lab operations by prioritizing urgent cases and resolving issues quickly.
• Participate in team meetings to improve workflow, communication, and customer experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Prior experience in a dental laboratory, dental office, or healthcare customer service environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient with computers.
• Friendly, professional attitude and ability to work well with a team.
• Basic understanding of dental terminology and restorations (crowns, bridges, implants, night guards, etc.) is highly desirable.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday–Friday

(Occasional overtime may be required based on workload.)
