Kindergarten Teacher

Redeemer Lutheran School is a PreK-12 Christian school in Verona, PA. We serve 270 children and their families. We are growing and have the need to add a second Kindergarten classroom.

The Christian faith is integrated throughout the curriculum. Interested candidates should be active members of a Trinitarian church, and comfortable sharing their faith.

We are in need of a Christian teacher for kindergarten in a self-contained classroom.

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Kindergarten Teacher to join our elementary team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator who integrates faith with learning and is committed to academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach in a self-contained classroom.
• Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with both academic standards and Christian values.
• Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Integrate Christian faith into the classroom through prayer, Biblical principles, and daily interactions.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student success and readiness for high school.
• Maintain effective classroom management while fostering a supportive and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Use classroom technology, including Smartboards and Chromebooks, to enhance instruction and learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a related field (required).
• Teaching certification or eligibility for certification (preferred).
• Active membership in a Trinitarian Christian church.
• Strong commitment to sharing and living out the Christian faith in the school community.
• Experience with lesson planning, instructional strategies, and classroom management at the middle school level.
• Proficient with educational technology and digital learning tools.

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience teaching in a Christian school or faith-based setting.
• Familiarity with both secular and Christian educational materials.
• Enthusiastic, flexible, and collaborative team player with a student-centered approach.
