Inspector
Mission / Summary :
Assist the Operator by ensuring bags are produced on time and to customer quality specifications. Support the safe, efficient organization and performance of the assigned crew to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.

JOB FUNCTIONS : Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to the following:
- Adhere to all safety rules, guidelines, and lockout/tagout procedures for assigned equipment.
- Follow all SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, housekeeping, personal hygiene, and auditing.
- Review job orders and production specifications to determine required paper or plastic stock for each run.
- Operate an electric hoist to lift, transport, and mount rolls of paper onto production machines safely and efficiently.
- Prepare rolls for production: splice new rolls, assist with threading paper through the machine, monitor paper flow, remove used rolls, and label/tag rolls for inventory.
- Assist with machine cleaning and maintenance, reporting any maintenance or operational issues immediately to the Inline Operator.
- Follow machine operating procedures under the direction of the Inline Operator.
- Read and interpret production orders and complete all required documentation accurately.
- Learn machine capabilities to ensure production can meet job specifications.
- Assist with product quality checks to ensure bags meet required specifications; make or support adjustments as directed.
- Support troubleshooting and minor repair activities to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, supporting general labor and housekeeping needs.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Compensation & Benefits :
- $20.00 per hour starting
- Overtime Pay (+40 hours)
