Vitalant is hiring newly graduated and experienced Medical Laboratory Scientists to bring skilled technical support to our high complexity testing reference laboratories. Regardless of your experience in this field, we have a position tailored to your skill level.

What To Expect

Schedule: EVE 2:45 PM - 11:15PM (works e/o W/E)

Training: six weeks paid Days (7:00 AM-3:30 PM)

As a Med Lab Scientist, You’ll Get To

• Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
• Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.
• Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.

Requirements

Accepting MLS I, II, or III

MLS I

• Must have a degree in Medical Lab Science OR an ASCP certification as MLS /MT
• $32.17/hour
  
  

MLS II

• ASCP MLS/BB certification required.
• Two years in a Clinical Laboratory setting required.
• $35.89/hour to $37/hour
  
  

MLS III

• • Certification :SBB preferred MLS /BB accepted
  • 3 years lab exp with 1 year IRL
  • 2 years lead/charge experience required
  • $41.27/hour to $42.55/hour
