Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join our client to support patient care coordination and ensure accurate processing of medical documentation. This contract-to-hire role, based onsite in the Morrisville, PA area, is responsible for verifying insurance, preparing records, and facilitating smooth communication between patients, providers, and billing teams. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in medical office operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Compensation:
$20 – $22/hour

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Office Assistant:
• Verify insurance benefits, process pre-authorizations, and prepare documentation for patient services.
• Coordinate medical records, charts, referrals, and provider notes to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with patients primarily over the phone, delivering timely updates and exceptional service.
• Maintain organized workflows by tracking documents, managing EMR updates, and collaborating with physicians and staff.
• Support office operations by preparing reports, handling sensitive information, and completing additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Medical Office Assistant:
• 3–5+ years of experience in medical office administration, patient services, or a related role.
• Knowledge of insurance processes, including EOBs, pre-authorizations, and verifications.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Professional communication, discretion with sensitive information, and a positive, dependable work ethic.
• A high school diploma is required; familiarity with medical terminology, codes, or durable medical equipment documentation is a plus.
