Part-time dental hygienist for private practice in Media, PA. We are looking for someone with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, a gentle touch, and a strong work ethic. Private insurance only. Must be licensed in Pennsylvania. Approximately 17 to 24 hours per week. No Fridays, late nights, or weekends ever!!
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and provide preventive care to patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team providing specialized care.
- Itero scans on all new patients
- Anesthesia License
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- 2 years experience in dental hygiene preferred.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with vital sign monitoring.
- Knowledge of medical coding practices related to dental procedures is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
- Must be a team player.
